What To See In Chiang Mai | Wats

Chiang Mai offers visitors an array of options when it comes to visiting Buddhist temples, known as Wats. There are those that are large and over-the-top, and those that are small and demure. Whichever you choose – you won’t walk away not impressed with the architecture and design.

A few “must-sees” in terms of temples include: Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, Wat Chedi Luang Worawihan, Wat Chiang Man and more. These photos are from my visit to a complex with many constructed and deconstructed temples – reachable only by horse and carriage. What a stunning afternoon that was.
