Au Jour Le Jour SS'16 - 1
It’s hard not to be noticed in an ensemble by Italian brand Au Jour Le Jour, especially one from their latest spring/summer 2016 collection. The brand’s founders, Mirko Fontanta and Diego Marquez, are set on making a statement with each piece – and they have. There’s nothing out of the ordinary, or out of the box with their silhouettes, but, if you want to talk pattern, these guys aren’t afraid to take risks.
The collection featured both cartoony and colorful elements – images of flowers, hairdryers and swirls adorning shirts and blazers. There were Western film genre influences and an air of, “I don’t take myself too seriously.” Here are a few looks I enjoyed from the show.
